This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) will explain how we collect, use and share your personal information, and how you may exercise your rights. This Privacy Policy applies to the Med-e-mate software.
"Personal information" as used in this Privacy Policy is information that identifies or can reasonably be linked directly or indirectly to an identifiable person.
We collect the personal information you provide to us, for example:
Account Information: Name of the clinic and the contract person at the clinic for contact purposes. Billing address and any information required for invoicing and payments.
Customer Support and Professional Services: If you contact Med-e-mate customer support or receive professional services, we will collect information about you related to your account and to the requests you are making or the services being provided.
In case of software crashes, we collect via the Rollbar service the details of the crash. Those include the code location of the crash ("Stacktrace"), the application version, and the clinic name. The crash details so not contain any patient or doctor information. They don't contain any medical data from Best Practice software.
Med-e-mate uses your personal information for the following purposes:
Payment management services: for invoicing purposes.
Rollbar service: for application crash analysis.
Law Enforcement: we may disclose personal information or other information we collect about you to law enforcement if required in response to a valid subpoena, court order, search warrant, a similar government order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to protect our property or rights, or those of third parties or the public at large.
Med-e-mate will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to perform our contractual obligations, provide you the software, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, preserve legal rights, or enforce our agreements.
Med-e-mate does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, patient data, staff and doctor information, medical history, healthcare billing information, or financial information of the clinic.
